The Rajasthan Royals (RR) is a franchise cricket team in the Indian Premier League founded in 2008 and based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The team is owned by Manoj Badale-led Emerging Media along with other investors. Rajasthan Royals won the inaugural IPL season in 2008 under the captaincy of Shane Warne.
