Wiaan Mulder Joins SRH as Carse Replacement for IPL 2025

Brydon Carse has been ruled out of IPL 2025. South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder has been named as his replacement in the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad.

Brydon Carse has been ruled out of IPL 2025 due to a flare-up of his long-standing left toe injury during the white-ball series in India. The England bowling all-rounder was bought by SRH in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction at his base price of INR 1 crore but unfortunately misses out on the tournament.

Mulder, a 27-year-old South African bowling all-rounder, is a right-hand batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He has no prior IPL experience and went unsold in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction at a base price of INR 75 lakhs. However, he now gets a great opportunity as SRH has signed him for INR 75 lakhs as a replacement for Brydon Carse.
