Disadvantages : ⚠️ Three Left-Handers in the Middle Order: One noticeable disadvantage is the middle-order imbalance, with three left-handed batters in middle (Rishabh Pant, Nicholas Pooran, and David Miller,) potentially making LSG vulnerable to off-spin bowlers. Opposing teams might exploit this with match-ups, especially on spin-friendly pitches likes chennai.

LSG History:
The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is a franchise cricket team in the Indian Premier League (IPL), founded in 2021 and based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The team is owned by the RPSG Group, led by Sanjiv Goenka. The RPSG Group previously owned the Rising Pune Supergiant, which played in the IPL during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
In August 2021, the IPL Council of the Indian Premier League (IPL) invited tenders for two new franchises. A total of 22 companies expressed interest, but due to the high base price, only six serious bidders emerged. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) permitted consortiums of up to three entities or individuals to bid for each franchise. Ultimately, RPSG Group, an Indian multinational conglomerate, secured the rights to the Lucknow-based franchise with a winning bid of INR 7,090 crores.
